Ukrainian woman Valentina has always wanted children but has had difficulty becoming pregnant. She made the decision to seek assistance from a family planning clinic when she was 60 years old in order to have a chance to have children.

She had enough money set out for the procedure when she found out she was expecting her first kid in 2010. When Valentina gave birth to a healthy baby girl called Anna-Maria in 2011, everyone was shocked.

Valentina decided to keep her and her daughter’s lives private and shunned interviews and visitors in spite of the congrats and media attention.

Valentina discussed the difficulties she encountered as a result of animosity and criticism from others in her first interview four years later. Despite the difficulties, Anna-Maria, who is now nine years old, is a bright and kind child who supports her mother and does well in school.
